On this evening, poet and author Salman Nurhak will read from his works and articles “Literatur Zeitschrift Leben“, „Nur die Liebe“, „Deine Liebe in meinem Herz“ and „So nimmt man das Leben mit Anthologie“, among others. The author takes us to ancient rivers and snowy high mountains, creating encounters with wolves, ants, birds, spiders, sunflowers and useful plants in every season. According to the poet, love has a central function in all of his stories. He accompanies the reading musically on his saz.

• Salman Nurhak

  (born 1963) comes from southeastern Anatolia. He has lived and worked in exile in Bremen since 1995. He is a member of the Bremer Literatur Kontor and the German Writers’ Association.
