Can art convey art?

With lenoleum printing through the art exhibition

Can art convey art? How do we approach an exhibition and works of art through our own creative actions?

As part of this participatory art education program, Clara Kramer, curatorial assistant at the Gallery at Künstler:innenhaus Bremen, invites participants to become artistically active in the current exhibition Repdroductive Matters. Through small exercises participants will approach the works by drawing, observing, questioning and exchanging ideas. What can we discover when we look at a work through drawing? What associations does it evoke?

We will then use linocuts to reproduce our graphic explorations on postcards. These will be displayed in the exhibition for the rest of the time, giving other visitors the opportunity to take part in the artistic exploration of the shown artistic work.
