Jimmy Robert: Call and Response
Call and Response brings together eleven sound pieces created in the context of Jimmy Robert’s performances and exhibitions. They were produced in collaboration with sound artist and DJ Ain Bailey, choreographer Jane Ellison, and artists Rosa Barba and Emma Hedditch, among others. The record is complemented by a booklet with an introduction by Nadja Quante and an essay by Mason Leaver-Yap and was beautifully designed by the London studio Wolfe Hall.

Writing about the Sound in Jimmy Robert´s European Portraits and Descendances du Nu
In cooperation with the seminar “Writing about Sound” of the Institute for Art in Context at the Berlin University of the Arts, students of the master program investigated and wrote texts about the sonic aspects in Robert’s performances. The seminar was led by Julia Grosse and Yvette Mutumba. The results reveal very different — sometimes abstract, sometimes lyrical — observations. The texts written by the students and published in the book “Writing about the Sound in Jimmy Robert’s European Portraits and Descendances du Nu” respond to two performances of the same name by Roberts, which were presented in his solo exhibition “la musique dans la chambre” at the Künstlerhaus Bremen.

Kateřina Šedá – It's Too Late In The Day
The publication I Am Trying To Steal It Back depicts one stage of Kateřina Šedá’s work on this long-term project. However, it does not take the form of a documentary, but rather a kind of synchronized reflection on the various steps. I Am Trying To Steal It Back combines considerations and plans, retrospectives and results that have emerged in the course of Kateřina Šedá’s engagement with the town of Nošovice and its inhabitants with the next, new steps. Interviews between Kateřina Šedá, the Czech writer Aleš Palán and the seamstresses of Blatnička and results from the tasks for the children of Nošovice guide the reader through the book. They allow the reader to participate in the process of creating artistic questions, in thought games that lead to actual games with the participants, and in the development of a new building block of this artistic work, the book itself. The publication I Am Trying To Steal It Back allows the various participants in this special artistic work to have their say and provides surprising, captivating and humorous insights.
