Gernot Wieland’s new lecture performance, which will be performed for the first time at Künstlerhaus Bremen, combines various stories about shame with tales and memories of his childhood in an Austrian village and thoughts on social origins and growing up in institutions. Wieland (*1968 in Horn, Austria, lives in Berlin) works primarily with text, video and lecture performance to examine psychological connections between society and people.
