Where once there was a restaurant, it is now empty and dilapidated.

After 32 years, the restaurant in the Künstler:innenhaus Bremen is empty. The vacancy hits us hard as a non-profit association, because we are lacking important income. But we also see an opportunity in this crisis: to design a wonderful space on the embankment in Neustadt and fill it with new life.

Why your donation is important
With your help, we can make the premises usable again and rent them out to suitable initiatives and projects - a lot is possible! With 17 studios, a gallery, a guest studio, a printing workshop and a wood workshop as well as studios and offices for the creative scene, Künstler:innenhaus Bremen is a lively and productive place. We want to maintain this in and for Bremen.

What we use your donation for

• Electrics and LED lighting: so that light and energy return to the room.
• Painting work: Puttying cracks, whitening walls for a welcoming atmosphere.
• Replacing the ceiling: The old paneling had to come down, new stuff had to come in.
• Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning: from the first floor to the basement.
• Searching and bridging: Finding suitable users takes patience, you make this possible.
