We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition la musique dans la chambre by french artist Jimmy Robert.
Robert produces works on paper, photographs, collages, sculptures, videos and artist books. His artistic practice explores the points of contact between body and material, as well as the representations and material conditions of bodies. In the presentation at Künstlerhaus Bremen, the artist explores the question of how his performance works can continue to be shown in exhibitions apart from re-performances. How can one approach a performance work anew without performing it? In this context, the exhibition places a special emphasis on sound, bringing together videos, works on paper, and sculptural elements and sound created in the context of his performances.

*The opening will be organized under the current Corona conditions. Therefore, there will be no opening speeches or other official programming.
