Weserburg, GAK Gesellschaft für Aktuelle Kunst and the KH Künstler:innenhaus Bremen open their doors for a summer evening with art, music and interaction. In addition to a film screening by Monika B. Beyer, bingo, the award ceremony for the Karin Hollweg Prize and a Complaints Choir, there will be a DJ set by Phuong-Dan and a concert by Sibb on the Teerhof. The flux will provide snacks, drinks and ice cream, while a hands-on station for cyanotyping (blue printing) invites visitors to try out their creativity.

The film screening r a u m w e b e n (2025) by Monika B. Beyer starts at 6 pm in the courtyard of Künstler:innenhaus Bremen. The K:H Bingo Balls of Fire follows from 6:30 pm - there are fiery prizes to be won. The advance sale of bingo tickets begins on July 3, from 2 p.m. at the information desk in the gallery.
6:30 pm - Weserburg forecourt
DJ set with Phuong-Dan
The Hamburg DJ is known for his versatile and atmospheric sets that combine different musical worlds. As a long-time resident of the Golden Pudel Club in Hamburg and an internationally sought-after artist, he brings his unmistakable sound language to clubs, cultural institutions and festivals all over the world.
*7 pm - Weserburg Museum für moderne Kunst**
Award ceremony Karin Hollweg Prize and sound performance by Reika Hattori
Presentation of the Karin Hollweg Prize as part of the master student exhibition what is that invisible thing your arm is resting on. The prize, endowed with 18,000 euros, is considered one of the most important awards for graduates of German art academies.
Followed by a sound performance by Reika Hattori
A sonic homage to the dying fluorescent lamps. Deserted shopping streets, flickering light, the last sound of a bygone era.

Complaints Choir
Based on the current exhibition “Unter dem Gewicht atmest du anders. Schuld und Haben” we take up the project Complaints Choir developed by Tellervo Kalleinen and Oliver Kochta-Kalleinen. It has been available as an artistic open-source work since 2005 and can be implemented anywhere - including by us in Bremen.

Concert by Sibb
Sibb is a music performance artist known for his fascinating mix of pop and soul music. With his melodious voice and charismatic stage presence, Sibb produces touching songs that appeal to audiences all over the world. Having performed at Schwankhalle Bremen, Fusion Festival and Kampnagel, Sibb brings his distinctive artistry to the stage.

Mitmach-Station: Summer Sun & Cyanotypie
Wir schnappen uns die Abendsonne und arbeiten mit Cyanotypie (Blaudruck). Blumen, Blätter oder anderen kleine Alltagsobjekte werden auf dem Papier tiefblau in Drucke verwandelt, die im Anschluss mit nach Hause genommen werden können.
