Wildwuchs Fest – Season Closing with an open dye lab
Saturday, 7.11. | 2–5 pm
As the gardening season comes to a close, we invite young and old alike to our wildwuchs dye garden.
Place: Project Space at Künstler:innenhaus Bremen (Middle House/Courtyard, Ground Floor)
On Saturday, November 7, from 2 to 5 pm, we’ll be showcasing the creative results from the workshops in the KH Project Space and inviting visitors to experiment in the dye lab with free hands-on stations.
With our new educational format, wildwuchs, we have launched a year-round, sustainable, and inclusive educational program that offers workshops and creative activities for children and teens. In close collaboration with art educator Katrin Seithel, a dye garden was created in the courtyard of the KH Bremen in 2026, which evolved over the course of the year into an open space for learning, research, and creativity.
In cooperation with two daycare centers and an after-school care group, we reached out to children from the neighborhood and actively involved them in the project. In addition, the free summer program was very well received. We hope that wildwuchs will continue in 2027 following this successful pilot phase—and we’ll celebrate our dye garden with everyone interested before the winter break.
