With this cooperation project, GAK Gesellschaft für Aktuelle Kunst, Künstlerhaus Bremen as well as Kunsthalle and Kunstmuseum Bremerhaven provide a shared digital discourse space for their programs—corresponding to their position as institutions for contemporary art in the metropolitan region of Bremen—and propose a collaborative way of working and thinking between institutions.

A way that is about knowledge production, questioning representation, and imagining change. Together, we take a look at certain aspects of our institutions and interests in order to formulate active questions of a multi-vocal publishing.

On publicsandpublishings.org, video, audio, text and image contributions are gathered. They are sometimes traces and documentations of events or exhibitions and sometimes commissioned independent scientific or artistic contributions. They are all related to the respective programs of the three institutions and allow commonalities as well as differences to become visible as a critical-constructive dialogue.
