In this workshop, the two artists Norman Neumann and Henrik Nieratschker invite participants to jointly engage with methods of improvisation and repetition in sound art. The immediate surroundings of the Künstler:innenhaus will be explored with audio recorders in hand, and the resulting recordings brought together in a shared audio archive. Using a custom-built synthesizer module, this material will then be activated both sonically and discursively, with the emerging loops and layers forming the basis for new, unforeseen narratives.
