bar in progress.02

Hops Bornemann

10.03.–15.04.01

For bar in progress.02, a simple replica of the Kyoto bar was installed in the gallery of the Künstlerhaus Bremen. The height of the bar, unusual for European habits, was adopted exactly, so that the visitors sat on a 30cm raised floor into which the bar and a recess for the legs were set. Within three weeks, a total of nine concert and DJ evenings took place on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings. The program ranged from punk and electronic concerts to a vocal and video performance and Super 8 films, which were also accompanied by DJs.

Materials by: André Müller and Christian Haake, Jonny Prösler, TIM & TOM, www.dj.mani.k.o.de, GAUMEN, Ingo Tegeder and Ekki Twistel, Alste Sakamotone and HariBo, Hausmeister Lumpi and Christian Haake, Manfred Kirschner, Matthias Bösche, Sebastian Schmidt and Rocket/Freudental.
