It can only happen at a particular place at a particular time. Things meet as if by chance, are mysteriously linked by poetry. We can only guess what is so special, what suddenly seizes us, what springs from the depths of the commonplace.
The exhibition Nichts weiter als ein Rendezvous focuses on contemporary variations of the ready-made. The works by Ceal Floyer, David Lieske, Kris Martin, Horst Müller, Markus Sixay, Florian Slotawa and Jan Timme lure the viewer into unusual relations without revealing the ready-made`s secret.
