The series of events Ein Haus für Künstler*innen [A House for Fe*male Artists] took place from 2022 to 2024. It built on the internal discussion of a suitable gender-appropriate name for the Künstlerhaus Bremen and the renaming to Künstler:innenhaus Bremen in May 2024. Through lectures, discussions, workshops and artistic contributions, the series gave space to external perspectives on the question and included other institutions and artists’ residences in the discussion.
