Gaststipendium 2026: Gordon Endt

On June 24, artist Gordon Endt began his four-week residency in the guest studio of Künstler:innenhaus Bremen. Endt was selected by the members of Künstler:innenhaus Bremen as the 2026 guest artist – he was nominated by Monika B. Beyer.

During his residency in Bremen, Gordon Endt is particularly looking forward to the interactions within the house: “Being part of the vibrant community at the Künstler:innenhaus is a wonderful opportunity. I’m dedicating my residency to my first direct collaboration with my brother here on-site. After a long period of collaborating from a distance, Bremen marks a turning point for us: I look forward to directly incorporating the new impressions of the city and the dialogue within the house into our shared artistic practice.”

Gordon Endt (*1996 in Freiburg, lives and works in Bremen) works in multimedia. In a society he perceives as falling apart, he seeks out the things that bring people together. As an identical twin, his artistic work explores loneliness, digital connectivity, avatars, doppelgängers, spatial separations, and what data reveals. In doing so, he frequently collaborates with his twin brother, Connor Endt.
